His friend John Riccio wrote,

“In 2016 I accepted a job for @aaronsingerman to do sales for Redcon1. In typical Aaron fashion he talked up the opportunity to be one of his first sales guys, that I would have essentially free reins to sell to whoever I wanted and do my thing. What he happened to leave out was that he had already had a sales guy working for him named Matt Meinrod. By the time I moved to Boca to start selling, Matt had already cherry picked the best of the best accounts in the country… and I was left to figure out how to create a book of my own without these easy layups I was hoping to score. That would be the start of a 5 year back and fourth battle to be the best sales guy at Redcon1. Matt was a D1 athlete, he lived for competition and battle. I myself was a confident/cocky smart ass that wanted nothing more to beat this guy in sales each month.”

He further added,

“Many months I trailed him, and every now and again I’d pull one over on him and pull out the W. For the first year, we shared what had to be an office the size of a walk in closet… we celebrated every time we got huge orders, we would blow an air horn every time the card went through for some large amount of money. We truly had a blast working together. Matt was a great colleague, friend, athlete and most importantly a father and husband. I remember him calling me to let me know he proposed to @sammiegirl_fitness , he called to let me know they were expecting, he was always sharing his love for his family and dogs with me. It pains me to think about him not being with us anymore. I know he wouldn’t want anyone to mourn him but to care for his family. I’m forever grateful for the time we spent together and friendship we created. I will miss you @redcon1salesguy and I’m going to do my best to continue to be the friend to your family as you were to me. Rest Easy Brother.”

From sharing about his business and growing in his work to their happiness in personal life, Meinrod and Riccio had done it all.

It is heartbreaking how the bodybuilding champion left the world a bit too early.

We wish his loved ones heartfelt condolences. May his soul rest in peace.
