FaZe Clan has distinct members and affiliates, but Jenna was not one of them.

Susan Chapple’s Fight Against Mental Health Stigma After Daughter’s Tragic Passing

Following her daughter’s d*ath, Susan Chapple from Sugar Grove has been motivated to challenge the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide.

To honor Jenna’s memory, Susan established the nonprofit organization “Jenna’s Hope.”

This initiative aims to facilitate understanding and provide support around mental health issues, stressing that mental illness does not discriminate and can affect individuals from all backgrounds.

By fostering this awareness, Susan hopes to prevent other families from experiencing the same heartache.

Her efforts extend beyond awareness; she is actively involved in helping families cope with the loss of loved ones to suicide. She said:

About three months ago, we created the nonprofit [Jenna’s Hope] to help others by referring people to suicide prevention services. Suicidal people can call, and parents can call if they’re concerned about their kids.

The nonprofit’s work includes educating the public that experiencing mental health challenges is not a cause for shame and it is essential to seek help.

Jenna, who excelled in sports during her high school years and later pursued a modelling career, had struggled with bipolar disorder and depression, which significantly impacted her life despite her achievements.

Susan’s goal with “Jenna’s Hope” is to transform her tragedy into a beacon of hope for others, emphasizing the urgent need for a broader societal change in how mental illness is perceived and treated.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • Jenna Chapple was a strong advocate for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
  • Aside from her modeling work, she was a committed volunteer at ‘Food Forward’ and NKLA (No Kill LA).
