A tragic shooting on the morning of April 27, 2025, has claimed the life of Kaisan Haveyan Henderson, a 19-year-old Seagoville resident, just hours after attending his girlfriend’s prom.
The devastating incident occurred near Fountain Drive and Canterbury Drive in the Seagoville Farms subdivision.
According to the Seagoville Police Department, officers received reports of gunfire around 11:29 AM.
Emergency personnel from the Police Department, Fire Department, and CareFlite EMS quickly responded and found Henderson lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, including significant injuries to the chest.
Life-saving measures were administered at the scene before Henderson was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Suspect In Custody
Witnesses report that a black sedan pulled up near the sidewalk where Henderson was walking.
The vehicle stopped in the middle of the street, and the suspect, later identified as 51-year-old Larry Robertson, exited the car with a rifle and opened fire on Henderson.
Henderson reportedly attempted to return fire and flee, but was fatally struck. Robertson was apprehended near a motel off Highway 175.
He was found in possession of a loaded rifle and has since been charged with Murder.
He remains in custody at the Seagoville Holding Facility as investigations continue.
