Benny Hinn Is Alive And Well Despite Hoax Started By Less-Than-Reputable YouTube Channels

He is alive, healthy, and thriving!

The hoax is a disreputable tactic for gaining clicks and views through worried admirers.

Key Takeaways

  • Benny Hinn is alive and well.
  • The rumor was started by disreputable YouTube channels.
  • Benny Hinn came from humble beginnings, and his success story is inspiring.

Benny Hinn, the Israeli-born televangelist, has become the victim of a hoax claiming that he passed away after suffering a massive heart on September 17, 2024.

The claim is absolutely baseless and seems to have been started by YouTube channels such as “Celebrities De*ths News,” “Famous Secrets,” and “Timely Infos,” which use similar clickbaity and deceitful tactics to get users to click on the videos and spread them around.

Needless to say, Benny Hinn is alive, healthy, and thriving. In fact, he still consistently posts on his social media and YouTube channel.

He just posted a heartfelt appreciation for his son-in-law, Michael Koulianos, for his birthday yesterday (September 17, 2024.)

“His love for the Lord Jesus and dedication to our precious master is one of the greatest thrills of my life. Again, a glorious happy birthday, dearest and loved, Michael,” Benny wrote.

Benny Hinn was born Toufik Benedictus Hinn on December 3, 1972, in Israel, to parents of Palestinian, Greek, and Armenian heritage.

Hinn grew up learning Eastern Orthodox tradition and was baptized by the patriarch of Jerusalem.

In the aftermath of the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, Hinn and his family moved to Toronto, Canada.

In 1968, Hinn was enrolled at Georges Vanier Secondary School but did not graduate.

Benny Hinn became a “born-again” Christian in 1972. As a child, he was deeply influenced by evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman.

Hinn began his ministry in 1974, preaching at Trinity Pentecostal Church in Oshawa, Ontario. He later moved to Orlando, Florida, and founded the Orland Christian Center in 1983.

Following the founding of his Florida church, Benny Hinn started holding “Miracle Crusades.”

Benny Hinn Ministries is known for its global outreach through television broadcasts, online content, and large-scale healing crusades.

The TV program “This Is Your Day,” is said to be one of the most-watched Christian programs in the world.

The ministry also engages in social welfare efforts, such as feeling programs, crisis relief, and support for children’s homes in Mexico and Asia.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • In addition to his healing services, Benny Hinn is a prolific author, having written many faith-based books on healing.

  • Benny Hinn’s teachings are “Word of Faith” in origin, focusing on “financial prosperity.”
  1. Benny packs an anointing that is out of this world. Was in a choir with his crusade in Calgary years ago. There was 900 of us. What an experience singing with the angels. Was also in his prayer army for think it was 3 years until we moved!
