One community called “Give In Kind” is doing its best to gather support and help for the family that has been deeply affected by Joe’s passing.

The post was put up by the family’s neighbor and friend, Beth Terborg.

“Give In Kind” had written the story of Joe where they said,

Today we rewrite this story- Joe passed into glory and is now whole, free, redeemed and in the presence of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. Where life may end- legacy begins! New hope for reaching lives and changing them forever, in Jesus name! Let not your heart be troubled! Let the legacy of our dear friend bring glory to God.

To strengthen the family members’ spirits and encourage them to believe in God, the community has also left their address where they can drop meals and notes for Joe’s family.

Andrea and Mike Leavitt’s son, Joe Leavitt, was involved in a serious car accident on November 24 2024. As a community of friends, family and neighbors this page has been organized to lend support and encouragement to Andrea, Mike, Nora and Joe for as long as they need it.
As Andrea, Mike and Nora will have varied schedules for the near future, we wish to respect the time they have together in respite at their home. Meals and notes of encouragement can be dropped off to 2320 N Whistlevale DR SW (green house on the corner with half circle drive). A cooler to receive meals as well as a bin for notes are located on the porch. Beth will deliver to family.
