Furthermore, the documents revealed that the Fulton County police department arrested and charged Damon Kimes Jr. with the offense of aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer in the County of Fulton, State of Georgia.
The charges stem from an incident on February 23, 2023, in which Damon Kimes Jr. unlawfully and knowingly committed aggravated assault against Ryan Panozzo, a public safety officer employed by the Georgia State University Police Department as a peace officer.
Additionally, the document revealed that Officer Panozzo was performing his official duties at the time of the alleged assault.
According to the charges, Damon committed the assault by driving his vehicle toward Officer Panozzo, using it as a means likely to result in serious bodily injury.
