Mary Elizabeth Mullikin was the beloved daughter of father Thomas ‘Tom’ and mother Virginia Ann Mullikin.

Her untimely and sudden demise has left her parents, Tom and Virginia, devastated. Mary filled the house with joy and fun.

Moreover, the late Mary Elizabeth Mullikin followed in her parents’ footsteps, who were both exceptional attorneys.

Her father, Thomas ‘Tom’ Mulliki, who earned his JD degree from the University of South Carolina in 1986, is the managing and principal partner of The Mullikin Law Firm.

Tom is a senior environmental attorney, author, professor, and award-winning documentarian representing numerous multinational corporate clients and the United Nations.

Similarly, he is the founding chair of the gubernatorial-established South Carolina Floodwater Commission, co-chair of the International Environmental Law Committee of the American Bar Association, membership officer for the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific Enviromental Law Committee, and many more.

Tom is also a retired senior military officer, Army Judge Advocate General Corps, and retired S.C. State Guard Major General.

Likewise, the late Mary Elizabeth’s mother, Virginia, earned her degree from the University of South Carolina and currently works at The Mullikin Law Firm.

Her parents, Tom and Virginia, received the National Civi Leader Parents of the Year honors in 2019.

In addition to her parents, left to cherish the life of the late Mary Elizabeth Mullikin are her three siblings, Alexandra Mullikin and husband Brant Tomlinson, Thomas Jr. and his wife Alicia, and Margaret ‘Charlie’ Whitney and husband Will and her several niece and nephews.
