She had been very close to her family. Her mother’s name is revealed to be Mickaelle Manigat A. Likewise, her father’s surname is Koue.

It was in an unfortunate and unforeseen car accident that occurred on November 12, 2024, that Koue passed away.

Jenn will be deeply missed, and her legacy will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. In this time of sorrow, the SWTC Midwifery community will be holding an open memorial in her honor, creating a space for reflection, support, and collective healing.

Jennifer Koue Memorial And GoFundMe

SWTC Midwifery is organizing a memorial for Koue’s departed soul online on November 14th at 1 p.m. CST and Monday, November 18th at 1 p.m. CST for current students, graduates, and faculty.

Furthermore, Isabelle Leon started a GoFundMe account to help raise funds for Jennifer’s homegoing and celebration of life.

According to the GoFundMe post, the cause of her demise had been stated,

“She was involved in a collision with a semi-truck and, despite the efforts to save her, Jen passed away shortly after reaching the hospital.”
