Dr Feng earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University in 1998 and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2002.

He completed his residency and fellowship in radiation oncology at the University of Michigan, where he later directed the Division of Translational Genomics and co-led the multidisciplinary clinic for prostate cancer patients.

In 2016, he joined UCSF, continuing his clinical practice and leading a research laboratory focused on identifying molecular determinants of treatment resistance in prostate cancer.

His work aims to develop targeted therapies to overcome such resistance, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, to personalize treatment plans.
