Back in April 2024, the late Greenville, NC native Ryan Silver shared a post on his Facebook page revealing that he was suffering from a neurological condition caused by a reaction to medication.
He shared that he struggled with an illness for over five months, which left him unemployed because he couldn’t talk, eat, or use fine motor skills.
However, the late Ryan Silver later shared a post stating that he was fine and had begun working a new job.
The late Ryan Silver had over 15 years of experience in the music industry. He played and taught guitar lessons.
He also played in various bands, recorded church albums, did studio session work, and played for weddings, and has been featured on Apple Music’s Top 100 album charts as a musician.
Ryan Silver won the hearts of many with his cheerful, kind, and humble nature; his passing has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.

Ryan Silver Is Survived By His Devoted Parents, Ernest And Charlene, His Loving Wife Juliann, And A Family Who Cherished Him
The late Greenville, NC native Ryan Silver, born on June 3, 1993, was a beloved son of father Ernest Silver and mother Charlene Armstrong Silver.
While Ryan’s parents haven’t spoken publicly about his passing as they grieve the loss of their beloved son, they often share photos of him on social media, expressing their love and pride.
Regarding his parents, Ryan’s mother, Charlene Armstrong Silver, has been serving as the donor services manager of The Community Foundation of NC East in Greenville, North Carolina, for over 17 years.
Likewise, his father, Ernest Silver, currently serves as a business insurance producer for SureVest Insurance Group LLC in Raleigh, NC.
Prior to that, Ernest Silver worked as a personal and commercial lines insurance sales leader of Silver Insurance Service for over 15 years and as a business insurance agent of McGriff for eight years.
Moreover, Ryan’s father, Ernest, earned his BBA with a major in accounting from North Carolina Central University. He also earned his MBA from East Carolina University and attended Hartford School of Insurance.
In addition to his parents, left to cherish the life of late Ryan Silver are his beloved wife Juliann Shirley Silver, step-daughter Airlie Mullen, brothers and sisters, and the whole family.
Ryan’s wife, Juliann, has been working as a first-grade teacher in Pitt County Schools and is also a group leader and founder at Touched by Suicide.
