Strange Places With Max Power Hospitalized Due To Brain-Eating Amoeba After Diving Into Still Water

He really took THAT risk!

Strange Places with Max Power is a Youtube page where you find Max Power going to abandoned places and exploring them in any way he can.

His channel is strangely fascinating, as most people usually avoid going to the locations he goes to and filming or taking pictures of. In one such event, Max got infected with a brain-eating amoeba from still water.

Key Takeaways

  • Max Power is a content creator who is popular on social media for his bizarre exploration.
  • Power got infected by a brain-eating amoeba after he dived into still water.
  • As of now, Power has been hospitalized. There might have been rumors about him passing away, but these rumors are entirely false.

Max Power is strangely brave and known best for his bizarre adventures to abandoned places. What one would consider forbidden, Power often considers it fun.

That’s the kind of adventurer he always has been.

His odd interest has enabled him to garner a large number of followers on his social media pages over the years.

The young content creator goes to several places that many could not imagine going to because of the dangers and scariness associated with the locations.

Most of the time, Power gets out of such places alive and well. However, very recently, on November 8, 2024, he posted a video of himself jumping into still water.

This disgusted many viewers and came off as shocking as much as it was painful even to watch.

Still, water refers to water that has been left as is for a long period. The likelihood of the water getting mossy, contaminated, and even lethal is very high.

A person who, unlike Power, is not looking for adventures as such would not even think of jumping into a pool full of still water.

In contrast to such a person, Max did not seem to think twice before diving into the water. And he did. The content creator even got deep inside the pool due to his weight.

As the caption of his video suggests, he had felt a bit of regret when he realized what he had done.

The caption in the same video read,

“I shouldn’t have jumped in the still water!”

Max Power After Still Water Video

Power posted a picture soon after he had posted the video of him jumping into the still water.

As many may have anticipated, he was soon hospitalized because he reportedly got infected by a brain-eating amoeba after having jumped into the pool.

A brain-eating amoeba is a fatal one caused by “Naegleria fowleri.” There aren’t many who are lucky enough to survive the amoeba.

In addition, anyone who gets infected cannot be treated with a specific cure. Hence, it is best to stay away from still water or contaminated places.

The likelihood of such amoeba’s existence is most likely in soil and warm water resources.

The still water was extremely contaminated and unsafe for a person to jump.

Thankfully so, he made it out of the hospital alive. The picture he posted at the end of the video read, “I am alive b*tches.”

He later posted the same picture, letting his followers know that he was hospitalized but safe from anything lethal at the time being.

We truly wish Max Power a quick recovery.
