It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of our beloved teammate, Leif Berrens. He was a loyal friend, dedicated player, and an athletic beast. Leif’s positive attitude and friendly spirit created an uplifting and welcoming atmosphere in our dugout. He bore every quality you could have asked for in an athlete and left a legendary impact on and off the field.

Leif’s mother, Kristy Schmoldt Berrens, expressed her deep sorrow while thanking those who supported her son’s journey in baseball:
“Thank you, Brady-Greta Terrill, for taking a chance on Leif a few years ago. He started his ‘career’ much later than most, and you and the team welcomed him with open arms. Baseball and football were his passions. I was so excited for this season. He said you guys were getting his arm ready for some pitching, and he was up to the challenge. So many questions, I’m so lost and broken.”
