In addition, her doctors at that time had no answers for her. They even questioned her sanity.
This made her feel helpless, and to gain some insights about her condition, she began her own research.
Most of the people who had similar conditions revealed that the only way out was to take their own life.
Poor Shannon did think to take her own life as well.
While explaining those days, she said,

He revealed that what she was experiencing was Map Dot Fingerprint Dystrophy.
Clinch further added that there is no cure for this illness, but the pain she is suffering can be minimized.
Then, in the fall of 2017, Dr. Clinch performed laser surgery on her eyes, which minimized her pain a bit.
