According to his book, it was revealed that Jason started doing drugs (alcohol, ecstasy, and cocaine) as early as age 14, attempted suicide three times, and has been arrested at least four times.
He had a history of mental problems as, on at least two occasions, he was diagnosed by his doctor as suffering an intermittent rage disorder that was being controlled by the drug Depakote.
