The Romance Of Tootie And Timmy

In the 2011 live-action, “A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!” which is set 13 years after the original series, Timmy finally falls in love with Tootie.

The movie stars Drake Bell as 23-year-old Timmy Turner, who denies growing up to prevent losing his fairy godparents.

On the other hand, Tootie (played by Daniella Monet) has grown into a mature and beautiful activist, once a socially awkward child.

After they meet, Timmy instantly falls for her. Understanding that they won’t be needed after he grows up, his fairy parents, Cosmo and Wanda, desperately try to repel Tootie.

Many things happen in the picture, but this is the short version of the plot chronologically: Tootie and the fairies get kidnapped, Turner saves them and kisses Tootie, and the fairies disappear.

Nonetheless, the movie ends with another scene where a new law is passed in the fairy world that lets him keep fairy godparents as long as he only makes unselfish wishes that benefit others.

Furthermore, Tootie and Timmy started a charity organization.

The first film’s success spawned two sequels: “A Fairly Odd Christmas” and “A Fairly Odd Summer,” which premiered on November 29, 2012, and August 2, 2014, respectively.

Moreover, the actors reprised their respective roles in both of the sequels.
