Yet Another Rumor!

One of the most talented country singers, Carrie Underwood, has long been the subject of pregnancy rumors. The actual situation differs significantly from the speculation made!

Key Takeaways

  • Carrie Marie Underwood is an American singer.
  • Underwood had undergone three miscarriages in just two years.
  • She welcomed her second child in 2019.

Carrie Underwood Is Not Pregnant

Carrie Underwood has been under speculation about pregnancy for a while now.

The 41-year-old has had several pregnancies in the past. Yet again, there have been fans who are wondering if she is pregnant again.

However, these assumptions are false.

She is not pregnant. In fact, as her social media accounts show, she has been very active in her music career.

Underwood is also the judge of American Idol.

Her journey as a singer began on the show. Even the official page of American Idol recently posted a video of her journey on Instagram.

She also paid tribute to the late singer Toby Keith at a two-hour concert special of “Toby Keith: American Icon.”

Carrie has been going on music tours very frequently and has garnered the love of fans more than ever, currently.

That said, she has not yet announced her pregnancy or even addressed the rumors.

Carrie Underwood Talked About Her Triple Miscarriage

Carrie had gotten pregnant three times after her first pregnancy.

Unfortunately, things have not worked for her all three times since she was pregnant.

The miscarriages had taken a toll on her mental health. She admitted that music and songwriting were her therapies during the tough times.

While it had been an extremely rough patch for Carrie and her husband losing babies, the couple took it rather positively and tried to hope for the best.

In an interview with CBS Mornings, Carrie shared with tears,

“We got pregnant in early 2017 and it didn’t work out. And, yeah…it happens.”

She added,

“We got pregnant again in spring, and it didn’t work out. Got pregnant again, early 2018, didn’t work out. So at that point it was just kinda okay like….like what’s the deal? What is all of this?”

Thankfully, after some of the toughest moments of losing babies over miscarriage, she finally got pregnant later in 2019.

And this was the pregnancy that worked for her and her husband, Mike.

Carrie Underwood Has Two Sons

Carrie and Mike have two sons, Isiah and Jacob.

The pair welcomed their first son Isiah in Michael, 9, in 2015.

They had their second son, Jacob, four years later, on January 21, 2019.

While she has always been very busy in her work as a musician, Underwood shared the importance of making time for the family, saying,

“I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him [Isaiah], it [was] like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is. But you just make room, and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family. That’s what it’s all about.”

Her oldest son, Isiah, had made his musical debut at the age of 5 with “Little Drummer Boy.”

The singer shared that he was quick to share about his debut with his classmates.

Delighted, Carrie said,

“It was so great. When we recorded, I was able to be in the booth with him and encourage him and try to remind him what words were coming up next, things like that. I got to listen to his vocals [get] put together and then listening to myself with him. I was laughing, and I was crying, and it was just very overwhelming in a good way. It’s just very emotional.”

Underwood is just as emotional when it comes to the birth of her second child, Jacob.

The country icon shared that when she was pregnant with the baby, she got a message from God to name him “Jacob,” and she did just that.

She wrote a warm tribute to her son on his second birthday,

“Jacob, we longed for you. We prayed for you. We walked a long, hard road in order to one day hold you. Today you are two. You are silly and strong. You love to play and sing and follow your big brother around. You are loved. You are cherished. You are an incredible blessing from God. Happy birthday, sweet boy! ❤️”

The mother of the two further shared about her miscarriage and her sons.

“We initially in our lives kind of wanted our kids a little closer in age. That didn’t happen because God has a different plan sometimes.”
